The pictures, as promised...

My delightful Persian lime tart, on an antique milk glass stand (found at shoppe girl's shop, btw :)). A very easy recipe (thank you, Martha!) and the crust, which is a tart crust, turned out just right, amazingly. I also included a picture of the final product. And I'm very sorry that my camera couldn't capture it any better than what it did.
And a glimpse of what I spent my morning doing - assembling a bouquet of crepe paper roses for the reception. Very time consuming and a little difficult. Ergo, I'm only making one bouquet. :0
This morning MM dropped off an uber-chic invitation for my personal shower. I love letterpress.
And now to give blood this afternoon...(I'm wondering why I did that to myself. Oh well, too late now.)

Looks like it belongs in the pages of a MS cookbook. Too bad there was none left for me to sample.

What a beaut, silver girl! So who were the honored recipients of this delightful Persian lime tart?
The bouquet does look like it could require time AND patience!
Creating and sharing is exactly what I had invisioned this blog to be, and in doing so it encourages the rest of us to create and share!!!

I'm wearing my eye shirt to the singing tonight. :) A grand penelope's treasure.
The honored recipients of the lime tart were: Kathy, Jenna, Evan, Bryan, Dale, Elaine, B, & B. And let's not forget myself...
I should make buttercream :D. Great stuff.

Explain what the eye shirt looks like. I thought that I had examined all your finds, but it does not sound familiar. I had a busy, yet productive day today. We had a Tory meal tonight - steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus. I, being the organized person that I am, made extra mashed potatoes for the rolls that I will be making Saturday.
